Technology is moving at a rapid pace.  It wasn't that long ago I remember when our b&w TV had an antennae on it and our phone was wired into the wall, now days the TV is wired into the wall and my phone has an antennae.  Someday ya'll have to explain that to me.

Small UAS aka drones are still in early days being used in SAR.  The FAA recently settled their PART 107 requirements, and COA and ECOA stuff.  Privacy lawsuits will be making their way through the courts in the next few years.  In the meantime, NASAR is partnering with USI to produce several SAR specific UAS courses and certifications.  We expect these courses and certifications to be on line by early 2024.  Please check back then.
