Organizational Memberships |
One of the greatest advantages of NASAR membership is the access to a vast pool of knowledge and resources we have been cultivating since 1973. NASAR provides its members with up-to-date training materials, research papers, and case studies related to SAR training, response, certification and operations. This wealth of information allows members to enhance their skills, expand their knowledge base, and stay abreast of the latest developments in SAR techniques, technologies, and best practices. NASAR offers a range of education and certification programs designed to enhance the professional development of SAR personnel. These certifications validate the expertise and skills of individuals in areas like ground searching, search management, tracking, canine search, and more. By obtaining these certifications, members not only improve their own abilities but also gain credibility within the SAR community. This can open doors to new opportunities and advance their capabilities in search and rescue. Being a member of NASAR means having a collective voice in advocating for SAR interests at the national level. NASAR actively engages with government agencies, lawmakers, and other stakeholders to ensure that SAR concerns are effectively represented and addressed. By joining NASAR, members contribute to the ongoing effort of improving SAR legislation, access to mutual aid resources, and volunteer protections. This advocacy work is crucial in enhancing the search and rescue capabilities across the nation and ensuring that SAR responders receive the support they deserve. ORGANIZATIONAL MEMBERSHIPSNASAR no longer provides new organizational memberships. NASAR continues to support legacy organizational memberships. We suggest your group researches individual memberships for your responders. |
